Everyone’s favorite Mexican Restaurant in Banderas Bay announced their Mexican Cooking classes for the fall season, 2011. Once again they will be sharing a few of their secrets during a series of up-coming cooking classes, with a limited number of participants joining El Arrayan's team for a traditional Mexican breakfast, visiting local purveyors, hands-on cooking instructions in their all-stainless steel professional kitchen, and then enjoying what they have cooked for lunch. The fee for this professional introduction to Mexican cooking techniques and ingredients is $90- $110 USD (depending on the menu) per-person. Come and have fun this Winter season supporting a variety of local Puerto Vallarta worthy causes as the popular Charity Bingo returns starting Tuesday, October 11! Nacho Daddy’s will once again play host to Charity Bingo every other Tuesday beginning at 6:30 pm.

During the past two years, Charity Bingo has been successful in raising over $36,000 USD for Pasitos de Luz, an organization dedicated to serving neurologically handicapped children from economically disadvantaged homes in the Puerto Vallarta area. For the upcoming season, six (6) different charities will benefit from the Charity Bingo proceeds.

Virgin America announced flights from San Francisco to Puerto Vallarta

Virgin America, California’s hometown airline, announced its intent to launch flights from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) in Mexico. Virgin America files today with the U.S. Department of Transportation for the authority to fly to PVR and subject to approval from both the U.S. DOT and the Mexican government, the airline plans to begin flying to Puerto Vallarta this winter. The announcement of the Company’s third U.S. — Mexico route comes as the low-fare airline has expanded service to Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Cabos, Cancun and Chicago in the past eight months alone.
